emba eXplore Offline Hike

October 24, 2024 @ 2:00 pm - 9:00 pm

emba eXplore Offline Hike

Join the unique emba eXplore Offline Hike taking place on October 24th, 2024, starting at 2pm (CEST) at Säntis followed by a cozy apéro at restaurant Schwägalp and organised by emba X, the Executive MBA programme presented jointly by ETH Zurich and the University of St.Gallen.

The rapid advancement of digital technologies in this century has profoundly impacted human life and nature. Constant access to the internet and smart devices has led to nearly uninterrupted availability. This shift presents both opportunities and complexities.

The emba eXplore Offline Hike is a way to experience one of the key themes of the Executive MBA ETH HSG first hand: mental and physical health. During the hike, you’ll get input on how to mitigate the impact of digital overload and improve your well-being, encouraging a healthy engagement with technology that can be integrated into both your personal and professional life.

Retreat from business as usual and tap into nature’s cycles of life.

Are you ready to (re)learn?

The workshop will be led by Linda Meixner, social entrepreneur, founder of the Offline Institute and digital balance researcher, and Christoph Matt, eco-social designer and interdisciplinary facilitator specialising in sustainability, design, visual arts and posthumanism.
