In Asia Pacific’s rise in the global higher education market, what kind of leadership will it offer the world?

In 2026, Asia Pacific defines its global character, and it isn’t simply about scale. Across the region, education has long been rooted not only in advancement, but in community, reciprocity and purpose. Education in Asia Pacific is not transactional, it’s transformational. That is a narrative only this region can authentically own. It is a moment to consider how internationalisation, workforce readiness and cross-border collaboration can be guided by gratitude, responsibility and shared prosperity.

In Bali, Asia Pacific does more than celebrate its ascent. It defines its character, modelling a future of global higher education that is ambitious, interconnected and deeply human.
