Many organisations and policymakers turn to behavioural science to influence individual choices and decisions. While these approaches can deliver quick wins, they often overlook the wider systems, structures, and contexts that shape behaviour in the first place.
This 45‑minute webinar is designed for leaders, practitioners, and policymakers working with behavioural science in organisational or public policy settings. It offers a chance to step back from individual‑level interventions and reflect on how behaviour emerges from the interaction between people and the systems they operate within.
During the session, we will explore how behavioural initiatives can become overly focused on i‑frame solutions that place responsibility on individuals, and how these can be complemented by s‑frame approaches that address systems: processes, incentives, and environments. We’ll examine where balancing these perspectives can lead to more effective, ethical, and sustainable outcomes, whether in organisations or in public policy design and consider the questions leaders should be asking when embedding behavioural insights into real‑world systems.
