Not only large corporations\, but also small and medium-sized enterprises in many countries around the world are now feeling the direct or indirect impact of factors such as scarce resources\, energy shocks\, wars or tariffs on their businesses. \nMany companies are currently working flat out to develop their geopolitical ‘muscle’ and strengthen the resilience of their value chains. This involves not only developing new strategies or running through scenarios\, but also setting up geopolitical departments to address these issues. \nThis is why the ‘Center for Geopolitics and Corporate Strategy’ was founded at the University of St.Gallen.
