The Global Female Leaders Summit 2015 brought together female leaders from more than 20 countries in Berlin’s prestigious Adlon Kempinski Hotel during April 20th – 22nd for discussions and exchange of knowledge and ideas. “Last year we organised the Global Female Leaders Summit for the first time. Our aim was – and still is – to create a world economic forum for women who are predominantly top-level managers, scientists and media makers, to come together for an exchange of current issues in business, politics and society”, explains Sigrid Bauschert, organiser and CEO of Management Circle AG.

With female executives such as Helena Morrissey, CEO, Newton Investment Management and 30% Club Founder, alongside Jane Jie Sun, COO Ctrip.com International Ltd. China as well as Corinne Vigreux, Founder and COO TomTom N.V. the panels were filled with business leaders’ top brass. “Compared to the first summit, the number of participants has more than doubled”, notes Sigrid Bauschert. The panels were characterised by lively discussions, and many female participants were full of praise, amongst them Sherilyn Casiano, CEO, S.I. Williams Wealth Management, LLC, New York says, “This was an impressive gathering of 200+ women in leadership positions in many industries and across diverse disciplines. My experience at the conference was magnified by the smart, beautiful and powerful women I met and with whom I engaged in conversation. Women, who are thought leaders, trail blazers, activists for change and peace, and who express themselves so elegantly and insightfully. I was inspired, challenged and invigorated.”

“We women have different experiences from our male counterparts in the way in which we acquire knowledge and work along our carrier paths and that is even true for the way in which we network. Therefore we came together and will continue to strengthen this commitment in the following months and years. The third Global Female Leaders Summit will take place in April 2016 again in Berlin”, the Management Circle CEO confirms. The Summit’s media partner, The European Business Review was represented by its Managing Editor, Tunde Olupitan who was very impressed with the calibre of attendees and states, “The European Business Review and indeed EBR Media, its publishers, will continue to support the summit and as we did in the months running up to this summit, we will continue to profile women leaders in the pages of our journals in the run up to the next Summit.” EBR Media publishes The European Business Review, The European Financial Review, The World Financial Review and All China Review.
